Clean Park, Dog Park area - 2 fenced play yards for large and small dogs. Beautiful paved trail that circles the entire park for walking. Large playground area for kids as well as exercise equipment for adults to use.
Very nice park. Clean and well groomed. There is a dog park too. The path around the lake is 7/10of a mile. Plenty of parking. Its open from dawn to dusk.
Beautiful lake, terrific for jogging, walking, yoga, picnics, bar-b-que and large groups. Also has exercise equipment on a padded surface, a dog park, a playground, beautiful waterbirds, and fantastic wartime memorials including an actual fighter jet (so cool !!!). Great for pokemon too! Park opens at sunrise and closes at sunset posted on the front gate. A must-see in Pinellas Park, on 49th Street by US19.
Multiple covered shelters for parties or just relaxing and grills that can be used to cook out. Parking is not great but it isn't too bad either. Overall, one of my favorite parks.
I visited this park for the first time a few weekends ago, seems like a nice park for cookouts, each of the pavilions was full with groups, there's a little workout area, two lakes, one of which looks like you can fish from - the monuments to the military are cool to see as well. There's an opening out to the sidewalk access by 19/49th street if you're on foot.
Very quiet and cozy park. I always bring my lunch here if in the area. Playground areas, nice pavilions with bathrooms, exercise area, all on an awesome lake. Don't forget to check out the military display and the full size jet. There are also dog parks.
